Today the company has transformed from being a close company solely active in Sweden, into being one of the industry's bigger players, having the whole Europe market as its selling area. Subsidiaries are found in Norway as well as in Denmark, and in Finland we are distributing through our collaboration partner OY Noortrade AB.
Amongst the biggest customer groups we for instance find the traditional electrical and specialized retail traders, furniture dealers, interior shops and mail order companies. Globen further on has sales agreements with, among others, Elkedjan, Ljusexperten (former Idégruppen), Lampaffärerna och Möbelmästarna, all found in Sweden.
It is with great enthusiasm and belief in the future that we look upon the years to come. Globen will work conscientiously in order to further expand its business and to becoming an even more complete supplier of home lighting!
The Story
Globen ab was established in 1984 by Anders Hall, who, subsequent to several years of professional experience within the lighting industry, had settled down in Svenljunga, 100 km East of Gothenburg, Sweden. (How to become a lighting trader...)
